HOW IT HAPPENED
-Meghan Cramb (New Boston, N.H. / Bishop Guertin) scored nine of the Hounds first 11 points on three three pointers to give the Hounds an 11-7 lead the first three minutes into the game. Cramb totaled 15 in the first half as the Hounds went on an 8-3 run to close the second quarter and took a 34-31 lead going into halftime.
-The second half was a back-and-forth battle with both teams trading baskets and the lead changing multiple times.
-The Hounds were led by Monica Spain (Braintree, Mass. / Archbishop Williams) in the second half as she put up 11 points in the second and totaled 17 for the game.
-Cramb finished the game with a team high 21 points on the day.
-The Hounds ended the game on a 17-2 run to close out the game and secure the win on the road.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
-Assumption outrebounded the Mavericks 37-33.
-The Hounds shot 23-58 (39.7%) on the night including 13-15(86.7%) from the free throw line.
