COLCHESTER, Vt. – The Assumption University women's soccer team secured a playoff position as they played to a 1-1 at Saint Michael's College Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Saint Michael's was the first team to strike, as Faith Kosiba curled in a shot from the left side of the box into the top right side, putting the Purple Knights up 1-0 in the 34
th minute.
Assumption got on the board in the 67
th minute, as a pass from
Annie Irwin connected with
Haley Brown, who beat the last SMC defender and slipped in the shot into the lower right corner to tie the contest at 1-1. With their playoff chances dwindling, the Purple Knights had a few late chances, but the Greyhounds would hold off the charge and secure the road tie.
