WORCESTER, Mass. – Four rushing touchdowns from
Jake Cady is more than enough, as the Assumption University football team moves to 3-0 in Northeast-10 action this year, as the Greyhounds picked up a 28-14 win against Franklin Pierce University, Sunday afternoon at Polar Park.
THE BASICS

Jake Cady tallied 288 yards of offense to lead Assumption, as the senior signal caller went 19-for-32 through the air for 188 yards while racking up 100 yards on the ground.
Berrell Neal was the second option on the ground, recording 86 yards on 15 carries.
James Henderson and
Raekwon Washington each tallied 30+ yards.
Cameron Reagan was the top option through the air for Assumption, as he had four receptions for 66 yards.
Defensively,
Lorenzo Valencina had a team-high seven tackles, while
Brandon Santell,
Edward Allen, and Valencia had sacks on the afternoon.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Assumption is 3-0 in NE10 action for the first time since the 2019 season.
- The Greyhounds controlled the action, as they totaled 409 (188 passing, 221 rushing), compared to the Raven's196 (116 passing, 80 rushing)
- AU dominated the time of possession, as there offense was on the field for 38:10.
- This is the second time in his career that Jake Cady has rushed for four touchdowns. He accomplished that feat last year against Saint Anselm (11/6/2021).
- The Greyhounds are now 3-0 against Franklin Pierce.
