BOSTON, Mass. – The Assumption University men's indoor track & field team began competing at the Northeast-10 Conference Chnampionships on Thursday at the Reggie Lewis Center.
Although the Greyhounds failed to score, the program had two student-athletes advance to final races in short sprints and hurdles. Senior Joseph Santos (Warwick, R.I.) ran the second-fastest time in the 60-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 8.36 seconds, and junior George Dixon IV (East Bridgewater, Mass.) posted the seventh-best time in the 200-meter dash by navigating the track in 22.46.
Assumption will conclude competing at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships tomorrow morning.
