WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Junior Joseph Santos (Warwick, R.I.) broke the school record in the 110-meter high hurdles at the Colonial Relays being held on the campus of William & Mary over the weekend.
Santos established a new program standard by crossing the line in 15.01 seconds, which was good for fifth overall in his division. In addition, classmate Claudio Rocha (Peabody, Mass.) notched the second-best time in program history in the 10,000-meter run. He finished the race in 30:50.11.
Both times by Santos and Rocha were qualifying marks for the upcoming New England Championships.
