WORCESTER, Mass. – Members of the Assumption University men's track & field team competed at a non-scoring meet hosted by Holy Cross on Tuesday afternoon.

The Greyhounds, who were racing against New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and the host Crusaders posted four fifth-place finishes against the Division I competition. Junior Bryce Eckenrode (Nashua, N.H.) completed the 400-meter dash by circling the track in 52.99 seconds.

Senior Vincenzo DiCarlo (Hazlet, N.J.) recorded a leap of 18-feet, 8-inches in the long jump, while junior Max Paolino (Foster, R.I.) notched marks of 45-2 and 119-2 in the shot put and hammer throw, respectively, in the field.

Assumption will next trek to compete at Stonehill on Saturday in its final tuneup before the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.
