MANCHESTER, N.H. – The No. 7 Assumption University field hockey team made it two-straight wins as the Greyhounds picked up a 2-1 win over Southern New Hampshire University Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Penmen were the first team to score after a scoreless first half. Emma Thibodeau put the hosts up 1-0 after her first goal of the year.
Elle Murray tied the contest up at 1-1 right before the end of the third quarter as she scored off a
Mia Salah rebound.
With the score tied, the Greyhounds applied pressure until the final whistle. With under five minutes remaining in regulation,
Hannah Tepper scored the game-winning goal, as the 'Hounds capitalized on a penalty corner.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Kylie Gargiulo did not need to record a save for Assumption.
- The Greyhounds outshot the Penmen 17-4, while AU had ten penalty corners compared to Southern New Hampshire's four.
- Assumption leads the all-time series 7-2.
