SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Kate Carleson recorded a goal and added an assist as the Assumption University women's soccer team played to a 2-2 tie at American International College Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
American International College applied the pressure from the start, as they fired the first three shots of the contest. Caroline Porter put AIC on the board in the 15
th minute as she scored an unassisted tally. Carleson evened up the game for the Greyhounds with her second goal of the year in the 38
th minute.
In the 51
st minute, Assumption took their first lead of the game, as
Haley Brown scored off the Carleson low angled cross. Six minutes later, the hosts would tie the game up at 2-2, as Charlotte Bernard scored the equalizer. The Greyhounds had a late scoring chance, but the Yellow Jacket's netminder stood tall and made back-to-back saves in the 82
nd minute.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
