WORCESTER, Mass. – Jenna Joseph tied a program record with 12 points as the Assumption University women's lacrosse team used a huge second half to rally past the College of Saint Rose 16-11 in Northeast-10 Conference action Saturday afternoon on Senior Day

HOW IT HAPPENED
Jenna Joseph started the scoring early for the Greyhounds, as the senior found the back of the net at the 55-second mark. The Golden Knight responded as they scored two of the next three goals to go up 3-2.
Isabelle Edwards,
Molly Weiand, and Joseph each struck for tallies as Assumption regained a 5-3 advantage. The game would continue to go back and forth, as Saint Rose scored five-straight times to take an 8-5 lead.
The two teams continued to trade goals until the 7:57 mark of the third quarter, where the Greyhounds went on a 6-0 run to take a 14-10 lead with 7:30 showing on the game clock. Saint Rose cut the deficit to three, but Joseph and Edwards would close out the contest with back-to-back goals to record a 16-11 Senior Day win for the Greyhounds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Skylar Troyan recorded eight saves for Assumption.
- The Greyhounds outshot the Golden Knights 31-25, while Assumption won 16-of-29 draw controls.
- Jenna Joseph's 12-point performance tied Emily Spath with a program record for points, which she set at Molloy on March 24, 2019.
