BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Ava Noramdin strikes twice, as the Assumption University women's soccer team picked up a 3-1 non-conference win at the University of Bridgeport, Wednesday evening at Knights Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption claimed a 3-1 victory over Bridgeport, with
Ava Normandin leading the charge, scoring twice for the Greyhounds. Normandin put Assumption ahead just before halftime, with an assist from
Kylie Chin at the 44:42 mark. Bridgeport responded immediately, tying the match 1-1 at 45:46.
In the second half, the Greyhounds pulled away.
Ashley Wenzel netted her fourth goal of the season at 55:07, assisted by
Shannon Fitzsimmons, giving Assumption the lead again. Normandin added her second goal in the 60th minute to seal the win.
