WORCESTER, Mass.—The Assumption University men's soccer team dropped a 4-1 Northeast-10 Conference decision to Saint Michael's College at home on Saturday at Normand R. Marois '57 Field. Despite a lead in shots and corner kicks, the Hounds could not build on their attacks.

How It Happened:
Saint Michael's opened the scoring early with a goal by Alva Macias-Cazorla at 3:51. The first half played evenly after the opener. The Purple Knights extended their lead in the second half with Marshall Butler's goal at 53:32 and quickly extended the lead to three with Ronni Riby-Williams scoring a minute later.
Assumption responded at 63:12 when
Jorgo Karamelo scored, assisted by
Isac Williamson, but Saint Michael's sealed the win at 70:01 with a goal by Diego Aplicano.
Inside the Numbers:
- The Greyhounds outshot Saint Michael's 17-12, including a nine-eight advantage in shots on goal.
- Saint Michael's goalkeeper Garrett Smith made eight saves, while Assumption's Iver Sjåvåg recorded four.
