NEW HAVEN, Conn.—The Assumption University men's soccer team fell to Southern Connecticut State University in Northeast-10 Conference action, 3-1 Friday evening at Jess Dow Field.

How It Happened:
After a scoreless first half, where neither side had many scoring opportunities, the Owls opened the second half with two goals in the opening four minutes. The Greyhounds got on the board in the 68
th minute, as
Brady Devos converted on a penalty kick, cutting the deficit in half. Southern Connecticut would tack on one more in the 74
th minute to secure the NE10 win.
Inside the Numbers:
- Iver Sjåvåg recorded six saves in goal for Assumption.
- The Owls outshot the Greyhounds 13-11 while having a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.
- Southern Connecticut now leads the all-time series 18-6-2
