Assumption University women's soccer played to a 1-1 draw against Bentley University on Tuesday afternoon. The Greyhounds struck first in the first half, but Bentley equalized late in the second to secure the tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption opened up the match on the back foot, with shots on goal favoring Bentley in the first half 6-1. The Hounds capitalized on their lone chance when
Haleigh Ward opened the scoring at the 21:14 mark, finishing a shot to the high center of the goal, assisted by
Elle Bristol. The play would mark the match's only Greyhound shot on the net.
Assumption's defense was up to the task as Bentley continued to pour the pressure on in the second half. The Greyhounds held the lead until the 81:25 mark when Bentley's Bridget Gleason scored the equalizer. Despite both teams pushing for a winner, the game ended tied at 1-1.
