Box Score WORCESTER, Mass.— The Assumption University men's soccer surged for a pair of late goals but fell 5-2 to Adelphi on Normand Marois '57 Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Panthers struck first, with Pablo Herrera finding the back of the net nine minutes in. Herrera would go on to score a hat trick in the brilliant match he put together. Assumption was stuck in their defending end for the majority of the first half but finally broke through with quality chances in the second.
Matthew Lamour etched his name on the goal-scorers sheet both times for the Hounds. Lamour's first goal ('69) was assisted by
William Rakkenes, while his second goal ('81) was set up by
Brady Devos.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Adelphi fired 22 shots compared to Assumptions ten.
- Seven Greyhound shots made it on goal, and the Panthers managed 14 SOG.
- Devos and Lamour led the Blue and White in shots, each with three.
- Sebastian Podgorney made nine saves in the match.
- Assumption is 1-9-2 against Adelphi all-time.
