TROY, N.Y. – The Assumption University women's ice hockey closed out their non-conference schedule with a 6-0 loss against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on Sunday evening at the Houston Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute started fast, as they opened the scoring in the opening 30 seconds of the game. The hosts added two more goals before the halfway mark of the first period, as they would go up 3-0 early.
RPI went on to score one goal in the second period and two more in the third period to record a 6-0 win over the Greyhounds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Carissa Mudrak logged 38 saves in the crease for the Greyhounds.
- RPI outshot Assumption 44-20 while also winning 36-of-55 faceoffs.
- Neither side scored on the powerplay, as the Hounds were scoreless on two attempts, while the Engineers came up empty on three chances.
- RPI now leads the all-time series 2-0-0.
