HOW IT HAPPENED
In this conference matchup, the Ravens opened up the game on the front foot offensively, leading 9-5 in the early going through Collette Mulderig and Gisel Vazquez Segura. The Hounds fought back and established a small lead. However, Franklin Pierce would not go away in the first ten, as Anna Badose Soler started her strong day with a three-ball to give the Ravens an 18-16 lead. After ten minutes, the visitors led 22-16. The second quarter started ugly for both sides, as neither team hadn't registered a basket until 4:53 remaining in the half. Assumption had to battle from behind again, as Emma Dahl nailed a jumper and Marina Callahan followed it up with one of her own. Despite how efficient the Hounds were on offense, the Ravens always seemed to have an answer, nailing a three with four seconds to go to lead into the break 33-31.

Out of the gate, the Ravens ripped off six quick ones to force an Assumption timeout. The Hounds went on a quick run of their own to get within four. However, it was responded to by an equal run from the visitors. Down 48-39, the Greyhounds scored nine straight to tie the game through Amanda Mieczkowski. After that point, Franklin Pierce added five to take a 53-50 lead into the break. Mieczkowski scored a jumper at the buzzer to get back within three, leading up to an interesting final ten minutes. The Ravens went back and forth with the Hounds in their own building, having an answer to every Assumption run. Leane Heitmann got going at the right time as well, going 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. Kaijhe Hall slowly tried to keep the Hounds in the game, as she was scoring well in the paint. It became a fouling game with a couple of minutes left, and Soler nailed her free throws. In a big upset, the Ravens defeated the Greyhounds 80-71. It would be the Hound's first home loss on the season, snapping a 12-game win streak.
