ALBANY, N.Y. – The No. 20 Assumption University women's lacrosse team used a five-goal fourth quarter to pull away from the College of Saint Rose and recorded a 14-7 Northeast-10 Conference win Monday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Saint Rose was the first team to strike, as Katy McPeak scored at 11:54 of the first quarter.
Katelynn Johnston responded with back-to-back goals to go up 2-1 five minutes in. After the Golden Knights tied the game, the Greyhounds exploded with four straight goals, with
Grace Chicko,
Mallory Bartlett, and
Kyle Johnston tallying scores for the visitors.
The Golden Knights responded with four straight goals, which lasted from the end of the first quarter until the middle of the third quarter.
Jenna Joseph snapped the Greyhounds' scoreless streak with her tally at 6:36 of the third before
Kyle Johnston struck again, making it 8-6 Assumption. Joseph pushed the Greyhounds' advantage to 9-6 before McPeak capped the third quarter with an up-goal.
Assumption was in complete control in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Golden Knights 5-0. Goals came from Chicko, Katelynn,
Kyle Johnston, and
Ella Tenney.
