WORCESTER, Mass. – The No. 20 Assumption University women's lacrosse team used a complete team effort to record an 18-3 Northeast-10 win against American International College Saturday afternoon at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was all Assumption early, as they scored early and often;
Molly Weiand opened the scoring at 12:47, but that was followed by goals from
Ella Tenney,
Jenna Joseph,
Katelynn Johnston, and
Mallory Bartlett, giving the Greyhounds an 8-0 lead after 15 minutes. The Blue and White carried their momentum into the second quarter, as they saw the Johnston Sisters accounted for four goals, extending the Assumption lead to 12-0. With just over two minutes left in the half, Gabrielle Walz put the Yellow Jackets on the board with her 15
th of the year.
In the second half, the scoring slowed down, but the Greyhounds remained in complete control. Olivia Catanzatire,
Molly Weiand,
Chloe Scornavacca, and Bartlett picked up goals in the third quarter, while the Yellow Jackets got one from Gabrielle Walz. Jordyn Galgay opened up the fourth quarter for AIC, but
Morgan Bolduc and
Taylor Adduci tallies responded for the Greyhounds.
