PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y.– The Assumption University men's soccer team dropped their eighth-straight match, as it fell to Pace University in Northeast 10 Conference action on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Pace was the first team to get on the board as Theo Poehlmann scored in the 29
th minute. Assumption found the equalizer right before halftime, as she scored by shooting in the low center of the cage.
In the second half, the Setters took the lead in the 53
rd minute, before scoring a crucial insurance goal in the 83
rd minute to win the game 3-1.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Cathal Carney recorded three saves in goal.
- Assumption outshot Pace 13-7, while having four corner kicks to just one for the hosts.
- This was the first meeting between the two programs.
