SHREWSBURY, Mass. – The Assumption University women's rowing team won the collegiate novice 4+ before finishing 16^th in the varsity race at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta, Saturday afternoon. 

The novice 4+ got the day started strong on the course, crossing the finish line in 22:03.1, 17 seconds ahead of Franklin Pierce, who took second. 

The varsity 4+ team took 16^th, clocking in at 20:45.8. 
 
The Greyhounds will reenter the water on Sunday, October 19^th, as they will compete in the 60^th Head of the Charles Regatta.
