PLYMOUTH, Mass. – The Assumption University women's rowing team began the year with a second-place finish at the Massachusetts Maritime Invitational at Great Herring Pond, Saturday afternoon. 

The novice 4+ got the day started strong on the 2K course, crossing the finish line in 9:13.6. The varsity foursome also took second, crossing the finish line in 9:00.2.
 
The Greyhounds will reenter the water on Saturday, October 4^th, at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta.
