WORCESTER, Mass.– The Assumption University men's soccer fell to Saint Anselm College, 1-0, in Northeast 10 Conference action, Tuesday evening at Normand R. Marois '57 Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The match started hot with the first goal of the game from Saint Anslem's Jackson Dresens in the seventh minute of the game. Assumption struggled to keep up with the Hawk defense, with three shot attempts in the half. Greyhound netminder
Cathal Carney kept up a good fight, not allowing any more goals from the Hawks.
The second half heated up with the Hound defense, which had seven shot attempts on goal for the game, including two header shots in the second half. However, Hawk goalie David Hood made multiple saving plays, keeping the Blue and White from scoring for the rest of the game. Although the score remained the same, the Assumption offense showed some grit, but would fall short 1-0.
