WORCESTER, Mass.– The Assumption University volleyball team saw their season come to a close, as the Greyhounds fell to Franklin Pierce University 3-1 in Northeast 10 Conference action, Saturday afternoon inside Andrew Laska Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Ravens began the match with a small three-point run. The first two sets were incredibly competitive. In the first set, the Ravens won the race to ten points, but the Greyhounds rallied back to lead 20-18. They fell just short, dropping the first set 26-24.
In the second set, the Hounds had their best stuff. The largest lead in the entire set was never higher than two points, and the lead changed five times.
Grace Presswood landed the set-winning kill, 25-23 Assumption.
In the third and fourth set, the Blue and White came up short. The score was 25-18 in the third set and 25-17 in the fourth set, respectively.
