MANCHESTER, N.H. -- The Assumption University women's ice hockey team dropped their second straight game to Saint Anselm College, as they fell 2-1 in New England Women's Hockey Alliance action, Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Assumption was the first team to score, as
Kayla McGaffigan scored on the power play at 11:13 of the first period. Saint Anselm would tie the game early in the second period, as Brooklyn Schneiderhan scored while short-handed. The Hawks would find the eventual game winner late in the third period, as Grace Stirling scored with 2:20 remaining in regulation.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Jadyn Weiser recorded 20 saves for the Greyhounds.
- Assumption outshot Saint Anselm 38-22, while the hosts won 38-of-63 faceoffs.
- The Greyhounds went 1-for-2 on the power play, while the Hawks were scoreless on their only attempt.
