CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Thirty-three conference all-stars representing 16 schools from the five New England Division II and III football playing conferences have been selected to the 2025 New England Football Writers Association All-New England team. The team, chosen by a committee of media relations representatives from the six conferences, honors the best Division II and III players by position in New England from the 2025 season.

The Assumption University football team had three representatives on the list: Jack Driscoll, Tindell Frick, and Jay Kastantin

Driscoll is the fourth Assumption student-athlete to be named the NE10 Offensive Lineman of the Year, as he helped the Greyhounds become one of the best rushing teams in the NE10, averaging 168.8 yards per game and scoring 20 touchdowns this season.

Frick was a force for Assumption, as he is the third Greyhound to win NE10 Defensive Lineman of the Year (Derrick Mann – 2013, Ray Sarkodieh – 2017). He led the NE10 and ranked 8th in all of Division II in sacks (11.0), to go along with 65 tackles and 14.0 tackles for a loss.

Kastantin was named the Northeast 10 Conference Most Valuable Player and to the All-NE10 First Team. He is the first Assumption player to win MVP since Khaleed Exum-Strong in 2021. He completed 138 of 223 passes this season (61.9%), while leading the conference in passing yards (1,974), passing touchdowns (19), and passing yards per game (219.3). Kastantin also had 100 carries for 530 yards (5.3 yards per rush) with five more touchdowns on the ground. His passing efficiency of 159.9 ranks 18th in all of Division II.

The Greyhounds will be back in action, heading back to Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 29th, to take on No. 3 Kutztown University.
