The Greyhounds responded with a nine-play 67-yard drive, with two big passing plays from Josiah Patrick to Connor Smith (19 yards) and Keith Mancini (36 yards) to set up a 42-yard field goal by Massimo Sgambati, making it 7-3. The hosts answered with a 64-yard Jaedyn Stewart, pushing their lead to 14-3. Kutztown continued to add to their lead. After the Hounds fumbled the ball, the Golden Bears recovered the ball at the 17-yard line. Three plays later, Novak ran the ball in from five yards out.

The Greyhounds would turnover the ball for the second time in the first half, as Brandon Strausser picked off the freshman signal caller. Kutztown would see Novak connect with Trevor Amorim for a nine-yard touchdown pass. Assumption would get on the scoreboard right before halftime, as Sgambati drilled a 36-yard field goal, making it 28-6.

After forcing Kutztown to punt, Assumption found the end zone for the first time today, as Kyon Simonson took his second hand off of the day, 20 yards for a score, making it 28-12. The top seed in Super Region 1 kept their offense rolling, as they added four-straight touchdowns to go up 56-12. Josiah Patrick halted the run by the Golden Bears with a six-yard QB run up the middle, making it 56-19.
