WORCESTER, Mass.— Rachel Agerter recorded three points, as the Assumption University women's ice hockey team completed the season sweep of Saint Michael's College following a 4-1 win on Senior Day at the Worcester Ice Center Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Assumption started fast, as
Jenna Chaplain scored at the 8:04 mark of the opening period, before
Kaitlyn Cielo scored right before the end of the first. The Greyhounds extended their lead to 3-0 at the 8:27 mark of the second period, as
Rachel Agerter scored on the power play. Saint Michael's College got on the board before the end of the middle frame, as Mary Leys lit the lamp.
The Greyhounds would add one more goal late in the third period, as Agerter struck again with 2:10 remaining in regulation to secure the season sweep of the Purple Knights.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Carissa Mudrak recorded 29 saves between the pipes for the Greyhounds.
- Assumption outshot Saint Michael's 32-30, but the visitors won 28-of-54 faceoffs.
- The Greyhounds were the only team to score on the power play today (1-for-4), while the Purple Knights went scoreless on three attempts.
- Assumption leads the all-time series 7-0-1.
