Baseball swept in Florida by Rollins

WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Assumption University baseball team closed out their weekend series at Rollins College with an 11-2 loss, Sunday afternoon at Alfond Stadium at Harper-Shepherd Field.

Score: Rollins College 11, Assumption University 2
Records: Greyhounds (0-3, 0-0 NE10), Tars (6-3, 0-0 SSC)
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless first and second inning, Rollins got on the board in the bottom of the third inning, as they plated three runs. Assumption cut into the deficit in the top of the fifth, as Chris Klein drove in a run with an RBI ground out before Cody Smith plated Owen Podolec with a single up the middle. 
 
The Tars would pull away, as they would score eight runs over the final four innings for an 11-2 final score.
