WORCESTER, Mass. – After an offensive outburst to begin his collegiate career, Assumption University men's lacrosse freshman
Ben McHugh was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Team of the Week announced by the association Wednesday afternoon.

McHugh had a dominant start to his collegiate career, as Assumption went 2-0. He began with four goals and one assist against Post on Friday before exploding for eight goals and nine points in a Greyhounds' win at Caldwell. His eight goals and nine points against Caldwell are the most by a Greyhound since Travis Reid recorded 13 goals and 22 points. The eight goals are the most by an NE10 player since Eamon Hall scored eight at Adelphi on March 16, 2024. McHugh leads the NCAA in goals per game (6.0) and second in points per game (6.50).
