WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University women's lacrosse team dropped their third straight contest, as the Greyhounds fell to No. 8 Pace University 20-8 in Northeast-10 Conference action Wednesday afternoon at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Pace started fast, as they scored in the opening 27 seconds of the contest before
Annika Pyy responded with the game-tying goal. After the Setters regained the lead,
Kyle Johnston and
Molly Weiand went back-to-back to give Assumption their first lead of the day (3-2). Pace responded with eight-straight goals to go up 10-3 early in the second quarter.
Chloe Scornavacca halted the run with her seventh of the year before the Setters closed out the first half with four straight tallies to head into the intermission up 14-4.
In the second half, the Hounds notched two of the three goals, with Weiand and
Katelynn Johnston finding the back of the cage. Pace was in complete control of the rest of the game, as they finished the game on a 5-0 run to come away with a 20-6 final score.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

- The Setters now lead the all-time series 10-0.
