MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Assumption University men's and women's tennis teams were voted to finish third in the Northeast 10 Conference Tennis Coaches' Poll released Wednesday afternoon.
Assumption received 15 points on the men's side, while the women recorded 24 points.

Cris Popa enters his fourth year at the helm of the Greyhounds after both teams fell in the NE10 Semifinals.
The men's side returns three of the four All-Conference selections (
Herman Aguirre,
Jakob Bordt, and
Alec Pijnacker) from a year ago, while the women's squad sees four All-NE10 honorees (
Laurence Bosmans,
Carolina de Souza,
Danielle de Souza, and
Madison Ericson) return to Worcester.
On the men's side, Adelphi (25) was picked to repeat as conference champions, while Southern New Hampshire (20) was voted to finish second. Franklin Pierce (15) tied the Greyhounds for third, while Saint Michael's (9) and Bentley (6) round out the poll.
On the women's side, Adelphi (36) was the pick atop the poll with Southern New Hampshire (30) coming in second. Franklin Pierce (34) tied Assumption once again for the third spot, while Saint Anselm (15), Bentley (11), and Saint Michael's (7) are ranked 5-7.
The men will open the 2025 campaign at the Stonehill Doubles Tournament on Saturday, September 6
th, while the women will start on the road at Post University on Wednesday, September 10
th.
