HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption wasted little time establishing its offensive presence against Bentley, opening the contest with two goals in the first six minutes. After a penalty corner, Caroline Mastergeorge found the back of the net at 4:22 for her sixth goal of the season, with Daisy Stone recording the assist. Just over a minute later, the duo connected again, this time with Stone scoring her eighth goal of the year off an assist from Mastergeorge at 5:43.

Bentley tried to respond in the second quarter, creating its first scoring chances of the contest. Mia Gallinelli sent a shot wide in the 27th minute, and Kiara Russell tested Assumption goalkeeper Carolyn Durand after a penalty corner at 27:57. Durand turned away the attempt to preserve the shutout. On the offensive end, Marta Brzoska registered a shot on goal late in the quarter, but Bentley goalkeeper Olivia Heryla made the save as Assumption maintained its 2-0 lead heading into halftime.

The Greyhounds regained their offensive momentum in the third quarter, recording eight shots while holding Bentley to just one attempt. Brzoska nearly extended the lead at 33:51 when her shot struck the post, while Stone and Nova Rijks each created scoring chances that Heryla turned away. Assumption finally broke through again at 42:30 following a penalty corner, as Mastergeorge netted her second goal of the evening and seventh of the season off Stone's second assist. The Greyhounds carried a commanding 3-0 lead into the final quarter.

Assumption continued to control possession in the fourth quarter, generating seven additional shots while holding Bentley without an attempt. Julia Carbone extended the advantage to 4-0 at the 52:06 mark, collecting a blocked shot and finding the back of the net for her seventh goal of the season. The Greyhounds kept up the offensive pressure in the closing minutes, with Brzoska and Julia Legere each registering shots on goal, but Heryla kept the shutout as Assumption secured the 4-0 win.
