WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University swimming and diving team had four top ten placements on Day Two of the Northeast 10 Conference Championships on Saturday at the WPI Sports & Recreation Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Jasmine Johnson was the first swimmer for Assumption to score points, as she finished 16
th in the women's 200 yd Freestyle (2:06.40).
Sophia Lake was the first Greyhound to take home a gold medal, as she won the women's 100 yd Breaststroke (1:05.42), topping the field by nearly two seconds, while
Audrey Hannigan (1:10.21) took 13th in the same event.
Kenny Guan was the first to garner points on the men's side, as he took ninth in the men's 100 yd Breaststroke (59.44), while
Sean Leary (1:01.35) took 16
th.
Ella Gilpin finished 12
th in the women's 100 yd Backstroke (1:02.42), while
Brooke Silvia finished in 15
th (1:03.51).
The women's 200 yd medley relay grouping of
Ella Gilpin,
Sophia Lake, Ruthie Riccobon, and
Audrey Hannigan finished eighth (1:53.97), while the other quad from Assumption,
Brooke Silvia,
Regan Lynch,
Giulia Faulkner, and
Aubriana Garcia (1:57.74) also added to the Greyhounds score. On the men's side of the 200 yd medley relay,
Kenny Guan,
Gabriel Paiva, Alex Morales, and Matt Williamson took ninth (1:52.95).
