RINDGE, N.H.—The Assumption University men's basketball team rallied from down seven points with under 33-seconds left in regulation, but ended up picking up an 86-80 win at Franklin Pierce in overtime, Saturday afternoon in Northeast 10 Conference action. 

THE BASICS:
Score: Assumption University 62, Franklin Pierce University 48
Records: Greyhounds (16-10, 11-6 NE10) | Ravens (6-21, 2-15 NE10)

HOW IT HAPPENED: 
The first half was tight for the opening 10 minutes, but just past the halfway mark, Assumption went on a 10-0 run to go up by 21-11. Franklin Pierce responded with a 14-4 run over the next 4:15 of game action to tie the game again at 25-25, with 3:41 showing on the clock. The two teams would trade buckets until halftime, when the score was tied at 31-31. 
 
The tight play would continue to start the second half, but after five minutes of action, the Ravens would go on a Beni Lavodrama 7-2 run to give the hosts a four-point edge. The two teams continued to exchange buckets, with Franklin Pierce maintaining a slight advantage. The hosts would see their largest lead of the game come with 1:18 left in regulation, following an Anthony Parker jumper. Assumption would not go away quietly, with Noah Payne fueling a 12-4 run, including a 7-0 run in the final 24 seconds to for overtime with the score tied at 72-72. 
 
In the extra frame, Zee McCown and Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton leading the charge for the Blue and White, as they went on a 14-8 run in overtime, to walk away with an 86-80 final score. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Zee McCown led Assumption with 27 points, while adding five rebounds and four assists. 
• Baril Mawo (17), Noah Payne (12), Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton (11), and Daouda Dembele (10) all scored 10+ points. 
• Franklin Pierce outrebounded Assumption 51-41, while the Greyhounds forced the Ravens into 25 turnovers.
• Of the 166 points scored in the game, 127 or 76.5 percent were scored by the two teams' starting lineup. 
• Franklin Pierce still leads the all-time series 30-20
