BOSTON, Mass. – The Assumption University men's indoor track and field team took third place, while the women's squad finished sixth at the 2026 Northeast 10 Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Track at New Balance on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
On the track,
Miguel Torres (8.50) and
Torrence Borletto-McCray (8.58) took fifth and sixth in the men's 60m hurdles, while
Katrina Sullivan (8.83) took home bronze in the women's running.
Jalen Smith-Phillip (6.91) grabbed the first gold of the day for Assumption, as he won the 60m, while
Rose Connolly (5:19.55) took home fifth in the women's mile. In the men's 400m,
DJ Chaudhry (48.49) just missed out on medaling, as he finished fourth, while Gabe Lamer took eighth. Will Farley (1:55.47) and
Parker Thompson (1:55.92) finished fourth and fifth in the men's 800m, while
Emily Oliver (11:14.20) and
Charlotte Perreault (11:15.06) took seventh and eighth in the women's 3000m. Smith-Phillip (21.91) and Chaudhry (23.31) finished seventh and eighth in the men's 200m, while
Hannah Keeney (26.46) took eighth on the women's side.
The men's 4x800 relay grouping of Will Farley,

Parker Thompson (8:27.22) finished sixth, while on the women's side,

Michaella Namiotka (9:57.52) took home silver. In the men's 4x400m relay,

DJ Chaudhry (3:18.54) finished second, with the women's grouping of

Ava Hayes, and
Jada McCown (4:31.26) taking home seventh.
In the field events,
Craig Gnatek (14.70m) finished fourth in the men's shot put,
Joshua Castello (13.99m) took home eighth, and
Ryan Araujo (13.36m) got bronze in the men's triple jump. In the women's pentathlon,
Zoe Wodja (2783) finished in fourth, while
Christina Barrett (2507) took home seventh.
Kenneth Pyburn earned the Northeast 10 Conference men's indoor track & field Elite 24 Award.
