WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University Men's Ice Hockey team is the top-seed in the Northeast 10 Conference Playoffs for the second time in three seasons, as the Greyhounds will take on Post in the NE10 Semifinals on Saturday, February 28
th at 7:30 pm.

THE SEASON TO THIS POINT
Record: 21-8-2 (15-3-2 NE10), 10-3-0 at home, 11-5-2 on the road
- Assumption leads the NE10 in scoring offense (4.19 goals per game), while also ranking third in scoring defense (2.81).
- The Hounds pace the conference as they score on 29.7 percent of their power plays, while also killing 86.5 percent of their short-handed opportunities.
- The Greyhounds lead all of college hockey with 11 short-handed goals; the rest of the NE10 have 15.
- Jonathan Surrette continued his historic campaign, breaking both the NE10 and the Assumption program records for goals in a season (32), while his 61 points broke the conference record and tied for second in program history.

- Post ranks sixth in scoring offense (2.18) in the conference and second in scoring defense (2.68).
- Sophomore Aidan Canady scored two goals for Post in their comeback 4-3 win in overtime against Franklin Pierce in the NE10 First Round, including the game-winner in the extra period.
- Benjamin Cunneen has been the backbone for the Eagles all season, as he leads the conference with four shutouts.
