WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University Men's Ice Hockey team is the top-seed in the Northeast 10 Conference Playoffs for the second time in three seasons, as the Greyhounds will take on Post in the NE10 Semifinals on Saturday, February 28^th at 7:30 pm.

THE SEASON TO THIS POINT
Record: 21-8-2 (15-3-2 NE10), 10-3-0 at home, 11-5-2 on the road

• Assumption leads the NE10 in scoring offense (4.19 goals per game), while also ranking third in scoring defense (2.81).
• The Hounds pace the conference as they score on 29.7 percent of their power plays, while also killing 86.5 percent of their short-handed opportunities. 
• The Greyhounds lead all of college hockey with 11 short-handed goals; the rest of the NE10 have 15. 
• Jonathan Surrette continued his historic campaign, breaking both the NE10 and the Assumption program records for goals in a season (32), while his 61 points broke the conference record and tied for second in program history.

Record: 9-18-1 (7-12-1 NE10) – 7-5-1 at home, 2-13-0 on the road

• Post ranks sixth in scoring offense (2.18) in the conference and second in scoring defense (2.68). 
• Sophomore Aidan Canady scored two goals for Post in their comeback 4-3 win in overtime against Franklin Pierce in the NE10 First Round, including the game-winner in the extra period. 
• Benjamin Cunneen has been the backbone for the Eagles all season, as he leads the conference with four shutouts.
