WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University women's basketball team is back in the Division II East Regional First Round, as they will take on Holy Family University on Friday, March 13, at 7:30 pm at the James Moore Field House on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University.

No. 4 Assumption University Greyhounds
THE SEASON TO THIS POINT
Record: 20-7 (12-6 NE10), 10-3 at home, 9-4 on the road, 1-0 at neutral sites.
- Assumption returns to the NCAA East Regional for the 11th time in their program history and the fourth-straight season, for the first time in program history.
- The Greyhounds were well represented on the All-Conference teams, as Teagan Curran picked up her first All-NE10 First Team selection, the duo of Thai Davis and Laura Johnson-Shedd were named to the All-Defensive Team, and Madison Handrahan was picked to the All-Rookie Team.
- Assumption is one of 24 schools to have teams at both regionals.

Record: 27-4 (20-0 CACC), 12-1 at home, 10-2 on the road, 5-1 at neutral.
- Holy Family is coming off a Sweet 16 appearance last season, where they lost to Bentley 72-63.
- The Tigers fell to Felician 65-63 in overtime in the CACC Championship game.
- HFU took home five All-CACC Honors, as Bernadette Laukaitis (Coach of the Year), Taylor Hinkle (Player of the Year, First Team), Ella Brown (Rookie of the Year), Skyler Searfoss (Third Team), and Kaelah Carter (Third Team) took home honors.
- Holy Family ranks second nationally in scoring defense, allowing 50.5 points per game.
