COLCHESTER, VT.—The Assumption University softball team picked up a pair of wins on Friday in Vermont, as the Greyhounds swept Saint Michael's College in Northeast 10 Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game One Score: Assumption University 4, Saint Michael's College 1
Assumption was the first team to get on the scoreboard, as they plated three runs in the top of the fourth inning, before
Bella Mara hit a solo home run to center field. Saint Michael's would not go away without answering, as CJ Davidson scored on a sacrifice fly to center field in the sixth, but that would be all that they would get, and the Greyhounds would take game one 4-1.
Kaelin Waldron picked up the complete game win, as she struck out six, while holding Saint Michael's to eight hits, one run, and one walk.
Game Two Score: Assumption University 4, Saint Michael's College 0
All the scoring in game two happened in the top of the third inning, as
Kaitlyn Cahill used a bunt single to score
Kaylee Lacomb, before scoring on a bunt single by
Bianca Vincequere.
Emma Bloom capped off the inning with a two-RBI single to left center field, plating both
Maddy Bland and Vincequere on the play.
Kya Birtz tossed her fifth complete game this season, and her third shutout, as she struck out five and allowed just three hits.
