PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Assumption University women's lacrosse team dropped their fifth-straight contest, as the Greyhounds fell to No. 14 Pace University 19-2 in Northeast 10 Conference action, Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption scored in the first minute of action as
Kyle Johnston scored off the assist from
Aleigh Thompson. From that point on, it was all Pace, as they scored eight in the first before scoring six more in the second to head into the break up 14-1.
The Setters continued to roll into the second half, as they netted three goals in the third and two more in the fourth, before
Jillian Gillis converted a free-position shot in the final minute of action.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Grace Cashman recorded 11 saves for the Greyhounds.
- Pace outshot Assumption 42-5, while also winning 16-of-21 draw controls.
- The Setters was successful on 18-of-20 clear attempts, while the Hounds were 12-of-21.
- Pace now leads the all-time series 11-0
