2019: Appeared in 23 games for the Hounds... Hit to a slash line of .304/.391/.482... Went 17-for-56 with two home runs, 11 RBIs and 14 runs... Went on a nine-game hitting streak from March 29 through April 10... During that span, went 6-for-12 through three games with one home run, six RBIs, five runs and two doubles... Hit a walk-off home run in a 13-11 win over American International on April 6... Came in defensively against Bentley on March 4 and then hit a two-run home run in the ninth in his team's 14-4 win.

Prior to Assumption: From Uxbridge, Mass....Attended Saint John's High School where he played baseball, basketball and soccer… Also played for the Northbridge Legion Post 343…Won the 2017 Division 1A Super 8 State Championship in baseball...Named to the MBCA Junior All-Star Game and the MBCA senior all-star game…Was a starting shortstop for two seasons while at Saint John's High School where he had a career .330 batting average...Goes on a one-week trip to Haiti every year with the BeLikeBrit Organization for community service.

Personal: Son of Jeffrey Hamel and Cheryl Hamel… Has one sister, Jillian, and one brother, Matthew...Mother played field hockey at the University of Rhode Island...Sister currently plays field hockey at Westfield St.
