Prior to Assumption: Played basketball at Winchester High School, where she averaged a double-double all four years, and 19 points and 10 rebounds senior year... also the all-time leading scorer at Winchester, ending her career with 1,287 points... 4x Middlesex League all-star, 2x All-conference, 2x MVP, 2x Boston Globe, and Herald All Scholastic.

Personal Life: Daughter of Martha and Bill Collins... has two siblings,  Mitchell (16), Carolyn (13). Martha played field hockey at Nichols, and Bill played basketball at Nichols.
