Prior to Assumption: Played football, basketball, and lacrosse. Was named to the Cape and Islands All-Conference team twice, and League MVP as a sophomore. Five-Time Boston Herald Star of the Week in football.

Personal Life: Son of Peter Bengtson who played football at Boston University and Christine Bengtson who ran track at Northeastern. Has two sisters, Olivia and Emily.
