Biography

2014: Played in all 11 games on the year… Finished with 31 total tackles, 12 of them unassisted… Had seven and a half tackles for a loss including five and a half sacks resulting in a total of 32 lost yards… Finished with two forced fumbles and two QB hurries on the season… Recorded two sacks and a forced fumble vs. Pace on 10/10/14.

2013: Named to the Fall 2013 Assumption College Student-Athlete Honor Roll... Appeared in all 11 games... Had 14 solo stops and 17 assisted tackles... Posted five tackles for loss for 12 yards, two sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, three quarterback hurries and two pass breakups... Finished with a season-best six tackles at Bryant on 9/7/13... Had two quarterback hurries at Bentley on 9/13/13.

2012: Appeared in three games, posting four tackles... Posted two assisted tackles at Bentley on 11/10/12... Posted a sack for nine yards vs. Pace on 10/27/12.

Prior to Assumption: Transferred to Assumption from Siena College, where he played lacrosse as the team won the conference championship... Played football and lacrosse at Marshfield High School... 2009 Shriners Game Defensive MVP... His team advanced to the Division 1A Super Bowl three straight years from 2010-2012... Two-time All-Conference and All-State for both football and lacrosse in 2011 and 2012... Named to the All-Time Marshfield High School Football Team.

Personal: Son of Stephen Gangi and Kristin Gangi... Has two brothers, Cole and Gavin... His father, Stephen Gangi, played baseball at Southern New Hampshire University and went on to play for the Boston Red Sox and the Atlanta Braves... Has volunteered at the Nativity School in Worcester as a tutor, as well as a baseball and basketball coach in the spring of 2014... Also coached an eighth grade youth lacrosse team to a 12-1 record and a championship in his hometown of Marshfield in the spring of 2014.
