Netted three power play goals, one short-handed goal and one game-winner... Game-winner came with 19 seconds left in regulation in a 5-4 win over Westfield St. on Dec. 6... Tallied one goal and three assists in a 5-4 win over Stonehill on Feb. 2.
2017-18: Appeared in 22 games fo rthe Hounds...Had one assist in Assumption's 7-3 win over Saint Anselm (1/20/18).
2016-17: Named NE10 Rookie of the Week (02/13/17)…Appeared in 24 games for the Hounds…Tallied five goals and four assists for a total of nine points on the season…Scored his first collegiate goal against Framingham State (12/06/16)…Started in the NE10 Championship against Saint Michael’s (02/25/17)
Prior to Assumption: Played ice hockey at Pinkerton Academy… Was a 2014 New Hampshire 18U State Champion, 2013 New Hampshire 18U State Champions, 2013 EJEPL 18U Champion, and a 2012 New Hampshire High School D1 State Champion… Was a USPHL 18U All-Star and a EJEPL 18U All-Star… Participated in Saint Joseph and Mary Parish Youth Group projects and was a member of Pinkerton Academy National Honor Society projects… Also played lacrosse in high school.
Personal: Son of Ritchie Philippon, Tina Doherty, and Greg Doherty... Has three siblings, Alex Philippon (21) Colin Philippon (17) Owen Doherty (9)… His father played Ice Hockey at New Hampshire College and his step-Father played Ice Hockey at Saint Michael's College... His brother plays hockey at Assumption.
