Jack Sweeney

Sweeney is in his first year as the head coach of the women's ice hockey program. He will oversee all aspects of sport instruction, develop a local and regional recruiting network, and monitor the academic performance of the student-athletes.

PERSONAL LIFE

  • Sweeney received his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education from Salem State University
  • He also received his Masters of Education in Athletic Administration from Endicott College and a Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Massachusetts Lowell
  • Has held roles in Massachusetts player development, including USA Hockey National Festival Coach, camp director for multiple women's select groups, instructor for MA Hockey Coaches Education Program, member of the USA Hockey National Junior Council, and member of the board of Directors for SCORE Boston (NHL Hockey is for Everyone Initiative)
