Prior to Assumption: Competed in soccer and track and field in high school at Tantasqua Regional High School, and played club soccer with Spirit of Liverpool. Named High School All-Star. Scored over 100 points in her high school soccer career and placed second at the state meet in the high jump. Active in community service, including her family's tradition of donating 100 filled stockings at Christmas to those in need for the last 25 years, and suicide/mental health awareness walks.
Personal Life: Daughter of Kathy and Bill Shiers. Majoring in Business. Sister of Jessie Shiers.
