Assumption University defensive back Isaiah Huff continued to rack up the postseason awards, as he was named to the Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America Second Team after a strong season on the gridiron for the Greyhounds, who claimed the Northeast-10 Conference championship for the third time in program history. Offensive Lineman Tom MacDonald was named an Honorable Mention All-American by the Don Hansen Football Committee. 

The Don Hansen team carries out the legacy of longtime small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away at the age of 75 on Aug. 29, 2010. Hansen, from Brookfield, Ill., started and published Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette for three decades, selecting NCAA Division II All-America teams for the first time in 1988. 

Huff was named a First Team All-Conference, All-New England, and D2CCA All-Super Region 1 honoree following the 2022 season. He recorded a league-high 15 pass breakups, with 31 tackles and a pair of interceptions in 11 games for Assumption. The Greyhounds allowed only 15.2 points per game to opponents this season – second-best in the NE10 and top ten nationally in all of Division II.
