North Andover, Mass. (October 27) -- The Assumption women's volleyball team fell to Merrimack, 3-0, on Thursday in Northeast-10 Conference action. The Greyhounds fall to 7-20 on the year and 1-12 in conference matches, while the Warriors improved to 4-20 overall and 1-11 in the league with the win.

Ryan Merle (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) had a team-high eight kills, while Mary Johnston (Pearland, Texas/Glenda Dawson) was second on the team with six. Jess Reimers (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) led the Hounds defensively with 10 digs, while Kristin Flatekval (Mahwah, N.J./Immaculate Heart) had 24 assists.

The Hounds travel to Molloy on Saturday for a tri-match featuring a rematch with Merrimack College, along with a match against Molloy. The first match will begin at 12:00 p.m.
