Garden City, N.Y. -- Against the top-seeded team in the country, the Assumption College woman's lacrosse team couldn't get much going on Tuesday night, losing 24-4 at Adelphi University.

Junior midfielder Claire Petersen (Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh) led the Panthers with four goals and ten assists. Petersen matched her own school record with 14 points. Senior midfielder Elizabeth Fey (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) had six goals and six assists.

Assumption falls to 5-6 overall and 3-5 in the Northeast-10, while Adelphi remains undefeated at 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the conference. The Greyhounds travel to Bentley on Saturday to take on the Falcons.
