Manchester, N.H. (September 15) – The Assumption women's volleyball team lost to Saint Anselm College, 3-0, despite no set being decided by more than seven points. The set scores were 18-25, 21-25, and 20-25.

The Hounds got a strong performance Lauren Ostafin (Avon, Conn./Avon) who finished with seven kills, six digs and 8.5 total points. Sam Lupinski (Waltham, Mass./Waltham) finished with five kills on 15 attempts. Also adding to the Hound attack was Kristin Flatekval (Mahwah, N.J./Immaculate Heart) who finished with three kills and eight digs in addition to her 16 assists.

The Hounds drop to 4-5 on the season with the loss while Saint Anselm moved to 2-6 with the victory.

Assumption plays its next match on September 17th at Adelphi at 12 p.m.
